ECVI-DHH Scoring Procedures
Word Scoring: Students are given a score of "1" if they can correctly name the target word from the picture prompt, and a score of "0" if they can not.
Definition Scoring: Definitions are scored on a scale from 0-2
- a score of 0 means the student did not respond or gave an incorrect definition
- a score of 1 means the student gave a definition that shows partial knowledge of the word (e.g., gave a partial definition or used the word in a meaningful sentence)
- a score of 2 means that the student demonstrated complete knowledge of the word (e.g., repeated definition from the intervention or provided a synonym)
